Vessel supply is rarely a simple purchasing process. A single vessel call can involve dozens of requirements, multiple product categories, strict technical specifications, changing ETA and ETD schedules, limited port access, local delivery restrictions and very short procurement windows. MELUSEA is structured to simplify that complexity by bringing commercial ship supply, technical procurement and sourcing coordination together through one central point of contact.
Instead of asking a customer to manage separate conversations for provisions, bonded stores, deck and engine stores, electrical equipment, safety products, chemicals, consumables and spare parts, our objective is to understand the complete requisition, identify the operational priorities and coordinate the most practical sourcing route around the vessel, the port and the available delivery window.

Local, regional and international supply channels.
Our worldwide ship-supply approach begins with the vessel name, port of call, berth or terminal where available, ETA, ETD, latest acceptable delivery time, quantities and operational priority.
When products are available close to the vessel, local procurement can provide the fastest route. When an item is highly technical, brand-specific, obsolete, unavailable locally or difficult to source, MELUSEA extends the search through regional and international supply channels rather than limiting the requirement to the immediate port market.
02 · Complete Vessel Supply
Multiple categories handled through one RFQ.
Our sourcing scope covers fresh, frozen and dry provisions, beverages, bonded stores, cabin and galley supplies, deck stores, engine-room consumables, electrical and automation products, safety equipment and PPE, firefighting and life-saving equipment, marine chemicals, lubricants, paints and coatings, tools and workshop equipment.
We can also investigate pipes, valves and fittings, navigation and communication equipment, refrigeration and HVAC requirements, mooring and lifting gear, together with genuine, OEM and suitable alternative spare parts.
03 · Technical Procurement
Specification accuracy before quotation.
Technical procurement requires more than matching a general description. For machinery parts, electrical components, valves, pumps, filters, motors, bearings and automation products, maker, model, serial number, part number, dimensions, material, voltage, frequency, pressure rating, connection type, photographs and drawings can all improve sourcing accuracy.
Where clarification is required, additional technical information can be requested before quotation so that proposed products are evaluated against the vessel's actual requirement and suitable alternatives can be compared before confirmation.
04 · Port-Call Coordination
Supply planning built around real operating conditions.
Every vessel call is different. Supplier availability, customs procedures, terminal rules, launch or boat requirements, agent coordination, local transport, berth access and vessel schedules can all affect how a delivery is performed.
MELUSEA evaluates these practical conditions together with product availability. The objective is not simply to locate an item, but to determine whether the proposed sourcing and delivery route can realistically support the vessel within the available operational window.
05 · Urgent Requirements
Wider sourcing when time and availability are critical.
A vessel may require an unusual spare part, an obsolete component, a specific lubricant brand, a technical product that is not stocked locally or a mixed emergency requisition shortly before departure. In those situations, a wider sourcing network becomes especially important.
When the available time and logistics permit, MELUSEA extends the search beyond standard local chandlery channels and activates regional or international procurement routes for urgent and difficult-to-source requirements.
